Dr. Benedict Probst
Head of Net Zero Lab at Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich
Ben is the founder and head of the Net Zero Lab an independent research group at the Max Planck Innovation and Cometition Institute in Munich. He is also a Fellow at the Centre for Environment, Energy and Natural Resource Governance (C-EENRG) at the University of Cambridge.
Ben’s research focuses on how firms, markets, and policies accelerate the transition towards a net-zero emissions economy. He is particularly interested in carbon removal and teaches a course on the topic at ETH Zurich. His research has been published in leading journals, such as Nature Energy and Nature Sustainability.
